Jimmy Spence is in the midst of puberty, and embarks on a journey of self discovery, as he
struggles to come to terms with the emotional upheaval in his young life. To make things even more confusing, he falls in love with Julie Richardson, a girl from his school. Jimmy dreams of kissing Julie, but there’s a problem: He’s never kissed a girl before, or had a girlfriend. He turns to his mate Scotty for help. Scotty tries to teach Jimmy how to kiss, but it’s not as straight forward as he thinks. When Scotty arranges for Jimmy to meet Julie at Barkers Park, Jimmy is absolutely petrified. Despite his reservations, he agrees to the meeting, which turns out to be an amazing experience, that will be etched in his memory for the rest of his life.
